What?

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Therapy for hairless involves the injection of  your own plasma and growth factors into the hair follicles  to stimulate healthy hair growth and increase hair thickness.

How?

After your blood is taken it is spun in a centrifugal machine for 8 to 10 minutes. This allows the separation of blood and then the platelet rich plasma is collected and injected into the desired area.

Why?

Concentrated blood plasma contains approximately five times the number of platelets found in the normal circulating blood. The role of platelets is to promote healing and aid blood clotting. Within the platelets are growth factors, these growth factors promote regeneration of cells within the body. By injecting plasma directly into the damaged hair follicle we are able to reduced inflammation and increase blood flow around the hair follicles in thinning and transplanted hair.

Results?

​It is important to remember that PRP is not a magic fix that will regrow a full head of hair but it will stimulate healthy growth and increase hair thickness. . Top-up treatments are required for maintenance of thicker, fuller hair.

Duration?

We allow 1hr per treatment and it is recommended that their is a course of three treatments, 2-4 weeks apart. Improvements are normally seen around 3-6 months and the full effect from 6-12 months​.
